Pressure ball machine common faults and maintenance
The ball press is mainly used for pressing powder materials that are difficult to form. It is characterized by high molding pressure, adjustable number of revolutions of the main engine, and a screw feeding device.
The main engine is powered by an electromagnetic speed regulating motor, which is transmitted to the driving shaft through a pin and pin coupling through a pulley and a cylindrical gear reducer. The drive shaft and the passive shaft ensure synchronized operation through open gears. The passive bearing housing is equipped with hydraulics at the rear.
The screw feeding device is driven by the electromagnetic speed regulating motor, and is rotated by the pulley and the worm reducer to force the pressed material into the main feeding port. Due to the constant moment characteristic of the electromagnetic speed regulating motor, when the amount of material of the screw feeder is equal to the amount of material required by the main machine, a constant supply pressure can be maintained to stabilize the quality of the pellet. If the feeding amount is too large, the feeding device is overloaded; if the feeding amount is too small, the ball is not formed. Therefore, the skilled operation technique is an important condition for ensuring the normal operation of the ball.
The hydraulic protection device is driven by a hydraulic pump to drive high-pressure oil into the hydraulic cylinder to cause axial displacement of the piston. The front joint of the piston rod is placed on the bearing housing to meet production pressure requirements. When the feed between the two pressure rollers is too much or enters the metal block, the hydraulic cylinder piston rod is under pressure overload, the hydraulic pump will stop, the accumulator will buffer the pressure change, the relief valve will open the oil return, and the piston rod will be displaced. The gap between the pressure rollers is increased to allow the hard object to pass through the pressure roller, and the system pressure returns to normal, thereby protecting the pressure roller from damage. The machine can adjust the pressure according to the requirements of the pressure ball density, and the production is flexible.
Common failures of the ball press In addition to the failure of the ball machine itself, most of the problems encountered during installation and commissioning are caused by external devices.

Repeated restart of the dome is usually caused by the low power of the power supply, which is not enough to drive the normal operation of the dome. First use a multimeter to detect the power supply voltage of the dome. It must be measured with the load (ball machine) turned on to determine if there is a power supply problem. It is important to note that the power consumed by the outdoor dome when the heater is turned on and off is very different. The maximum power of the dome must be considered when powering, ensuring that the power supply equipment is sufficient to drive the dome to work properly.
Common problems of ball presses Phenomenon 2: Video scrolling
The video image of the dome is constantly scrolling on the monitor. This phenomenon is mostly caused by video synchronization problems. Most of the 24VAC domes are automatically synchronized according to the phase in the AC power supply. The dome menu can be adjusted and the phase auto sync function can be selected. If the automatic synchronization fails due to the power phase, the phase value can be manually set in the dome menu to resolve the synchronization problem.
Common problems of ball presses Phenomenon 3: Control garbled
When the dome rotates irregularly, first check if the center device has an error, and then check if the dome menu has started the random scan mode. If the above steps are normal, most of the data communication lines are interfered with and the garbled information is continuously transmitted. The interference mainly comes from the electromagnetic interference on the transmission path, and the optical transceiver may also have a deviation in the photoelectric reduction.
